Happy New Year!

Happy New Year.  I haven’t written over the holidays, but wanted to check in quickly to promise that more posts will be returning in 2014, and I am grateful to all of my kind readers this year.

I’d like to begin this new year thinking about all the good things from the previous year, and about my wishes for the next year – without beating myself up for things I could have done better in 2013.  This new year, I’d like to be as gentle with myself as I would someone else.  I wish the same for you, and thank you again for reading my blog.

I love this sentiment; we are much more gentle with others than we are with ourselves.
And when I do this, I feel depleted and frustrated!
    Thanks for the reminder…

Thank you so much for all the inspirational thoughts, insights, and perspectives you posted this past year on Grow.Cook.Write … and for all the delicious recipes you’ve shared. Your abilities as a most accomplished writer, cook, gardener, teacher, and journalist are VERY impressive; you are a true inspiration to many people! I look forward to reading all of your blogs in 2014. Happy New Year to you and Nick. ~Pam

  3. Thanks for your comments! I hope everyone has a wonderful New Year!
